Bullet Drawing

Lead From Bullets, Melted Down And Drawn Into Wire, Threaded Through Paper.

When knowing what the material is I always look at this drawing as a form of the chest being forced into itself by a heavy impact, which I see as the bullet. This minimal piece shows the destruction in process with the centre part being the victim of the shot and from that it turns in to a black hole, pulling in the remainder of the form creating this deformed wired grid. Cornelia Parker drawing style reminds us that classic mediums do not need to be used and the use of a deformed graph and considered medium can create a powerful piece of work.
